duPont Manual Varsity Crimsons Cheer

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 20th from 6:45-7:30 in the Senior Cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out for next year’s squad. If you cannot attend this meeting, please see Coach Vaughan.

On Wednesday, April 20th there is an Athletics Open House in the large gym from 5:30-6:30 for any incoming student. We will have a cheer table and any cheerleader interested in trying out for captain needs to attend this open house. See Coach Vaughan for details.

The Cheer Banquet is Thursday, March 31st 6:30 at Captain’s Quarters in Prospect. The dress for the Banquet is Dressy Casual. There will be a meal followed by recognitions/awards and then a special video presentation.

Congratulations to the Small Coed Cheer Squad for winning Region 7 Championship and qualifying to compete at State. Way to go cheerleaders. Good Luck at State.

We are excited to welcome our new Assistant Coach to our cheer family. Lori Strohmayer has been hired as the new Assistant Game Coach. Coach Strohmayer will be assisting with the Game Squad for both football and basketball seasons. She is a seasoned cheer coach from Mississippi and is a teacher at duPont Manual High School.
